Meet Dr. Chris Auger.
After serving with the U.S. Navy SEAL Teams for nearly 28 years, Dr. Chris Auger remains dedicated to seeing high performing teams come to truly know and care for one another, and to help each other become better. He is passionate about using the skills, talents and experiences that God has gifted him with to serve others.
Chris’s passion for strong teams was ignited and developed over the course of his career as a U.S. Navy SEAL Officer. He retired from the service as a Lieutenant Commander from the Center for SEAL and Surface Warfare Combatant Crewman, which is responsible for leadership development and education for all Naval Special Warfare. Chris is a Board Certified Coach from the Center for Credentialing and Education and is certified to administer the EQi 2.0 suite of emotional intelligence assessments.
Today, Chris serves with WinShape Teams as a Coach to facilitate meaningful and impactful experiences for clients that yield innovative and enduring solutions. In this role, he uses his experience and certifications to specialize in combining emotional intelligence with servant leadership to build leaders, followers and teams that are highly self-aware.
Chris graduated from the University of Maryland University College with a degree in Information Management Systems, going on to earn his Masters of Science in Global Leadership from the University of San Diego, with an emphasis in project management and international business, and in 2018, he graduated from Regent University’s Doctorate of Strategic Leadership Program with a concentration in leadership coaching.
Chris and his wife, Sandra, have been married for 28 years and have one daughter, Alexis. When he’s not being active outdoors or going on walks with his wife, he’s probably cooking up a storm in the kitchen.
