Meet Jo Ann Patty.
Jo Ann Patty loves building genuine connections with those around her. She serves others by pointing them to resources and information that not only meet them where they are but platform their growth and flourishing. She believes everyone brings great value to their families, communities and teams, so she does whatever she can to make sure each person she comes into contact with feels seen, valued and encouraged.
With a Bachelor of Business Administration from Georgia Southern University, Jo Ann holds many years of experience in administration with organizations in social services, community engagement, economic development and continuing education. In her current role as Senior Administrative Assistant, she serves the leaders of WinShape Teams as they plan for and guide the direction of the organization, charting the path forward for future growth. As the self-proclaimed, "senior lady on the team," Jo Ann takes great joy in mentorship opportunities, pouring into younger team members by sharing wisdom and insights she's learned in her life along the way.
Jo Ann has four wonderful children — three sons and a daughter — and more dogs and cats than kids! She says she loves her furry kids just as much her human children. When she is not serving at WinShape Teams, you'll probably find Jo Ann with a cat in her lap, walking one of her dogs, or catching a game at a baseball field. In her spare time, she also enjoys singing in the choir at church. As the mom of a special-needs adult daughter, Jo Ann is passionate about advocating for equal opportunities and care. She also loves pouring into other parents of special-needs children, especially those who need to hear success and coping stories to encourage them on a journey that may be difficult at times.
