Who are Teams Experiences for?
Our leader and team development programs are open for intact teams, teams-to-be, leaders, and leaders-to-be. We exist for the small business owners, the non-profit teams, the middle managers, the summer staffs, the corporate executives, the pastors and their staffs — the people coming together to better the world around them. Our programs equip participants to better understand themselves and those around them, empower them to lead themselves and others, and encourage them to take steps toward seeing purposes accomplished and people fulfilled.
What is the price of the Experience and what does it cover?
How is a WinShape Teams Experience different from other team and leadership development?
This isn’t your traditional classroom training. Our approach leans on the principles of experiential learning to combine meaningful team and leadership content with activities, challenges, and scenarios that bring this content to life. We create a platform for individuals and teams to take a step from the theoretical to the practical and from the abstract to the actionable. This means trying new things, engaging new ideas, and challenging the status quo.
In addition, we think that the environment where learning takes place plays a large role in allowing you to detach from the distractions of the day and dive into an immersive experience. We work to combine our unique atmosphere and learning spaces with intentional hospitality to provide a welcoming and safe environment for individuals to be challenged and stretched.
We believe our recipe for engaging guests in meaningful ways allows us to serve, lead and ignite people in a way that leads to deeper and more meaningful change.
Is there a schedule available for Teams Experiences and can I get a copy?
Yes, a general schedule will be sent to you when your registration/booking is confirmed.
The scheduling of sessions and activity times is subject to change prior to the date of the training. A final copy of the schedule will be given to each participant upon arrival.
Will a WinShape Teams Experience be beneficial to me if I've already had an experience with them?
To move from the theoretical to the practical, we intentionally supplement content delivery with activities that best serve the group and the content being delivered. Each activity, challenge, or scenario is used to highlight specific principles within the overall arc of learning and development. Any previous interactions with specific elements won’t take away from future experiences.
Are Teams Experiences safe?
We put a very high priority on ensuring the safety of our guests. All of our facilitators are certified by ANSI-ACCT practitioners and receive ongoing training in both group processing and technical skill sets. Our challenge course is maintained and inspected bi-yearly by ACCT Professional Vendor, Signature Research, Inc.
What dress/attire is appropriate?
We’ve found that the best attire for any Teams experience is comfortable casual. Jeans and athletic wear are appropriate. We suggest wearing closed-toed shoes because we like to have fun with activities! If you are at our Mount Berry campus, you may also be walking from your lodging at Retreat to your sessions. (If you need assistance getting from place to place during your experience, please contact us or let us know upon arrival.)
What kind of lodging and meal accommodations will be provided during my stay?
For experiences at our Mount Berry campus, lodging and meal accommodations are provided by WinShape Retreat. Our facilities foster an environment for learning, growth, and transformation. Breakfasts and dinners will be provided by WinShape Retreat in the Great Hall, and lunches and snacks will be provided by the WinShape Teams hospitality team.
For Leader Summits at locations other than Mount Berry, lodging is not included in the price of the program, but we do provide lunch and snacks during each event!
What is your Reservation policy? If I change my mind, can I get a refund or attend a different event?
For Retreat experiences booked with WinShape Teams, the full amount of the event will be charged to your credit card at the time of the reservation. Once the card is charged, the payment is non-refundable, but can be transferred to another event within one year of the date of the reserved event. A $75 transfer fee may be assessed.
For all Leadership Summits, the full amount of the event will be charged to your credit card at the time of the registration. Once the card is charged, the payment is non-refundable, but individual tickets can be transferred to other ticket holders within that event up until 5 business days of the event start date. (i.e. If you purchased a ticket but later decide you can’t make it, send someone else in your spot! Please let us know ahead of time if you change ticket holders so we can serve you well!)
What if I have dietary restrictions or other special needs?
If you have any dietary restrictions or other special needs, please let us know at the time of registration so we can accommodate you accordingly.
I'd like to stay an extra day or two with my staff following our experience… can we do that?
We would love to have your group stay longer – it’s great to spend time with your staff while you can! Check in with your Events Coordinator for availability, rates, and options.
