For the Team uncovers what it takes to go from good to great
The world of Adventure Racing naturally pushes people to their limits in challenging, dynamic environments. Teams are tested: physically, emotionally, and mentally. Adventure Racing emphasizes teamwork over individual achievement, which makes it an exemplar of great teamsmanship in action. Team Avaya is, no doubt, a GREAT team.
They climbed the highest point of the Indian Ocean in just 4 hours of a 100-hour race. They were the first to cross the finish line, making them the 2018 World Championship Adventure Racing Team for the 6th time in (7) years. Their success is the result of a high-performing team.
In our documentary, For The Team, we uncover Team Avaya’s secrets to success. Our film captures the humility of Fleur Pawsey’s understated courage, Nathan Fa’avae’s captivating leadership style, and the team’s practice of not quitting when things get rough. Team Avaya’s racers were willing to go to those hard places, and even hurt For The Team. That’s the difference between a good team and a GREAT team.
