They climbed the highest point of the Indian Ocean in just 4 hours of a 100-hour race. They were the first to cross the finish line, making them the 2018 World Championship Adventure Racing Team for the 6th time in (7) years. Their success is the result of a high-performing team.

Meet Team Avaya
Team Avaya is made up of four (4) adventure racing athletes: Fleur Pawsey, Stu Lynch, Chris Forne, and Nathan Fa’avae.
Led by ECO Challenge winner and world-renowned adventure athlete, Nathan Fa’avae, the team is known as New Zealand’s most successful Adventure Racing Team.
Fa’avae and his team have won six (6) of the last seven (7) World Championships, distinguishing them as the sport’s frontrunners.
Most recently, Team New Zealand, captained by Nathan Fa’avae, won the World’s Toughest Race: Eco-Challenge Fiji, which is now available to watch on Amazon Prime.
